He did vote for some things that  I disagree with in the past, and his plan isn't perfect,  but no one politician is ever going to be perfect.  He's smart, knowledgeable about the financial system, and has shown a great deal of courage.  He's willing to stick his neck out and tell the truth... we need cuts!  Not many politicians are willing to do that.   From his recent townhall meetings, it looks like he has a lot of support, not that you'll see that on the evening news.  Bloggers on the scene report standing ovations for Ryan and cheers when astroturfing lefties get kicked out.

Wisconsin Recount Day 2

No Runny Eggs is keeping tabs on what is going on with the Supreme Court election recount and also the recalls.  Funny how Kloppenburg, who frankly looks vapid and psychotic, thought her 200 vote lead was enough to declare victory, but somehow Prosser's large lead isn't enough.  I'm still waiting to see what the left is going to try and pull here.  I don' trust them.....

Strange Bedfellows, indeed..

I highly recommend watching this video by Bill Whittle.  It is the first in a series about Barack Obama's roots and upbringing.    They are doing the job the media neglected to do in 2008.    It is well researched and documented, nothing unsubstantiated.   It is very eye-opening in regards to the reality vs. the way Obama portrayed his mother and grandparents.  He is essentially a "red-diaper" baby....  watch for yourself.

I've been following "zombie" for years now and he/she has done several exposes on the excesses and outrageous behavior of the gay community in San Francisco. The treatment of Christians in this is absolutely outrageous but is condoned, while people cowtow to muslims for fear of retaliation, Christians are the ones who are called "intolerant"?? Really?? Who are the ones who are consistently and openly mocked in our society? Sure as heck isn't Muslims... who, by the way, in their own countries routinely execute gays. Sure, Christians sometimes complain or boycott, but are not threatening or committing acts of violence toward those who continually mock us and our God. I LOVE Paul Ryan..

This guy is smart, financially savvy, and he GETS IT.   He understands what needs to be done and is not afraid to stick his neck out and say it.  We need more people like him to get involved in politics.  I'm quite sure our founding fathers did not intend for career politicians, because all they seem to care about is re-election, not doing the right thing.  People need to grow up and understand that there just isn't the money to pay for all these freebies; that attacking  the producers and creators in society and taking from them to give to the moochers and "taxing the rich" does not increase wealth; that tough choices and tough cuts need to be made to save our economy and our country.

Worst. President Ever.

He goes on more vacations than anyone I have ever seen, even when there is urgent business to take care of here.  The economy is failing, gas and food prices are going up and he heads off for the weekend (again).  He has repeatedly insulted our allies.  He's "too tired" to welcome the British Prime Minister and gives him a set of DVD's as a gift (flashback to meeting the Queen, anyone?) He tells a citizen worried about gas prices maybe they need to trade in their vehicle.  We are involved in a "kinetic military action" in Libya with no plan and no apparent goals.   What is happening to our country?

The list of gaffes, mistakes, and outright incompetence over the last 2 years is breathtaking, but the media still gives him a pass and Chris Matthews is babbling about his "disarming grin".  

Can someone please wake me up and tell me this is a bad dream?

California Vs. Texas

The Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks the Governor's dog, then bites the Governor.

1. The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie "Bambi" and then realizes he should stop because the coyote is only doing what is natural.

2. He calls animal control . Animal Control captures the coyote and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.

3. He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases.

4. The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound bandaged.

5. The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is now free of dangerous animals.

6. The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a "coyote awareness program" for residents of the area.

7. The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.

8. The Governor's security agent is fired for not stopping the attack. The State spends $150,000 to hire and train a new agent with additional special training re: the nature of coyotes.

9. PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files a $5 million suit against the State.


Texas :

The Governor of Texas is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A Coyote jumps out and tries to attack his dog.

1. The Governor shoots the coyote with his State-issued pistol and keeps jogging. The Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.

Prosser vs. The Bride of Frankenstein

As good as the news from Waukesha is regarding the change in votes for Prosser, I'm still feeling a little wary, as Milwaukee won't finish their canvassing until next week. I'm pretty sure they'll find plenty of missing votes for the Bride of Frankenstein in car trunks, backrooms, or some other place. They probably haven't gotten all of the graveyard and felon votes yet either. Call me a pessimist, but I don't trust the dems and the union thugs. They've shown themselves to be corrupt time and time again, and historically, these things ten to swing for the liberal candidates because they are willing to cheat.

I'm hoping and praying that this doesn't happen but these people will stop at nothing in their pursuit of power. Here is some info you may not have heard....

Supreme court election and the end of democracy.

Well, if this Supreme Court election turns out the way it looks.........  what the H-E-double hockey sticks is wrong with you people?  A knee-jerk reaction to Scott Walker (who is correct in my opinion) to vote for an inexperienced judge who has some pretty strong left-wing ties. People are getting waaayyy more than they bargained for.  Look for the unions to get even worse because they see this as their victory and its pretty clear who bought and paid for her campaign.  Now we can look forward to obstructionism and legislation from the bench, rather than in the legislature where it belongs, as well as more thuggery, threats, and protests every time they get challenged.  Mob rule, people... this is what led people to the guillotines.  Don't think things like that can never happen again.

One last thing, if I end up getting laid off due to the budget repair bill getting killed, I will NOT blame Scott Walker... I will blame the unions, the democrats, and the judge who gets in the way.  These people are killing our representative system.

For those not familiar with Victor Davis Hanson, here is an introduction...  a great piece about the Orwellian world we find ourselves in.  Where truth is silenced, where what is evil is held up as good.   Those of us on the right side of the spectrum know this, but we pretend we don't.  We pretend that if we play nice, things will work out in the end, but those on the other side want us silenced.  They don't want to compromise or play nice.  Michael Moore was right, this IS war, but we didn't start it.  We are facing a true crisis.

It's kind of sad to see how polarizing this all has become, but it seems that the lines are truly being drawn and there may be no turning back.    There seems to be no middle ground and even if there were, you can't compromise with evil.    Ayn Rand said "In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit."   I believe that to be true.   I believe the Bible conveys the same sentiment and I do believe that is a much higher authority than Rand :), although for an atheist, she did get some things quite right.    If you look at how things are being turned on their head, how the things the left accuses us of (violence, lies, selfishness, etc) are actually the things THEY are doing, how the media supports this, how people like Obama are given a pass on everything and people like Sarah Palin are villified.... it is overwhelming at times to think about the obstacles we face in this fight.  The cards are stacked against us.  But still, we fight, because it is the right thing to do.....

These people have been showing their true colors.  They are not concerned about anyone but themselves.  The media  has largely ignored the threats, damage to the capitol, and other thuggish behaviors of these people.  Now, they are attempting to extort businesses under threat of boycott.  We need to stand up to these Marxist thugs.   I have a feeling its going to get worse before it gets better and the election this week is crucual to this debate.  Please get out and vote for Prosser on Tuesday.

This Supreme Court election is extremely important...

Next week's judicial election in Wisconsin is so very, very important.  What is at stake here is the ability of our elected officials to do the jobs they were elected to do.  The left is hoping to get a majority on the court so they can control legislation through the judiciary.  They can hamstring and block our legislature, essentially nullifying the 2010 elections and barring any progress.   This is the goal.  The tyranny of the minority, which our founding fathers had hoped to protect us from...  speak out, vote, and keep up the good fight.
