So, here is the truth about where union money goes and it explains why they are so desperate to hold onto their power.  Quite simply, it is about political power, nothing else. It also explains why the democratic lawmakers are behaving the way they are.  They stand to lose MILLIONS of dollars in campaign contributions if public workers are no longer forced to pay dues.   At the end of the day, it's all about nothing but raw, political power.
