Most of us on the right have known for years that the entertainment and media businesses by and large promote a leftist viewpoint (I REFUSE to use the word "progressive" to describe these people). There are many, many TV shows I won't watch, celebrities whose movies I won't pay for, and other entertainment that is just spoiled for me based on the blatant bias in them. The way conservatives or Republicans are always portrayed, the anti-gun message, the anti-Bush garbage, the list goes on and on.
