You have to share, but we don't.. especially with those awful homeless people..
Class warfare is an ugly thing, historically orchestrated by behind-the-scenes elites, who keep the spoils for themselves once the bottom feeders get done with the dirty work of overturning society and overthrowing the government (usually violently). Those on the bottom may end up better off than those that they now oppress but they don't get to share the wealth they steal with the elites. Same thing every time, yet the left somehow thinks this time they will get it right; that they won't have to spill as much blood, but they underestimate the love of freedom and liberty. These people are willing to achieve their goals with violence, which is so ironic when they accuse the right of being the ones who are violent. Communism, fascism, even Nazi-ism are all deeply rooted in left wing ideology; redistribution of wealth, government control/regulation of industry and finance, the class struggle. These are the ideologies that have spilled the most blood, not right-wing. Don't think that the “Occupy” movement can't at least attempt the same thing. They are well-funded. They appear disorganized but they may be more organized than we think. They already have talked about the use of violence. Fliers found in Arizona talk about shooting police. They have been openly provoking police in an attempt to escalate the issue and gain public support by crying “police brutality”. They put women, children and disabled people on the perimeter of the protest sites so that if police intervention is needed, they have to go through the most vulnerable people, creating another image to garner sympathy.
But... this a a peaceful, non-violent movement, right?
They would never dream of indoctrinating children, right?
Continuing great coverage at Verum Serum
Forcibly taking from one to give to another does not make you virtuous or righteous nor does it make our society virtuous or righteous. It breeds laziness, resentment on the parts of both the takers and the givers, and the end result is oppression and slavery. We cannot and should not compel charity. Charity and helping people are good things but must be done willingly. America is a generous country. We give millions, even billions, of dollars worth of cash, goods, and time. Even “evil” corporations do. Our “poor” are richer than most of the rest of the world. We have created a sense of entitlement to the earnings of other people.
And where do these Hollywood types get off telling the rest of us what to do? They are far and away wealthier than the rest of us? Why aren't they giving away more of what they earn by play-acting for a living while the rest of us work real jobs?
And I'll leave you with this. Ignorance, anger, hatred, envy. This is what this movement is made of. It cannot end well.
