What is with the Sarah Palin hatred?  I just don't get it.....   I mean, disagree with her, don't like her politics, fine.  But what's with the absolutely toxic hatred people have for her, even some conservatives.   Personally, I love Sarah.   What's not to like?  She's independent, strong, conservative, has no problem challenging the establishment on either side.  She can kill and skin her own food, for cryin' out loud!   She is one of the very few public figures who have the guts to directly call Obama out on his lies.  And despite the media spin, I think she's smart and has a lot of common sense.  Sure, she speaks plainly and comes off a little "folksy", so what?  Look what a bunch of Ivy League elites have done to this country!    Our founding fathers intended for ordinary people to step into government, do their duty, then return to normal life.  We have career politicians who are worried about nothing more than reelection.

So, what does a proposed UN agreement have in common with random thug attacks in Chicago, you ask?

Well, they both have to do with our 2nd amendment rights.   According to Forbes magazine, a proposed UN agreement (all terms not yet made public) this will supersede state and national gun laws to align them more with other countries.  Many, if not most, other countries, particularly in Europe have strict gun control and this could set other things in motion that could conceivably at some point allow for total gun confiscation if the UN desires.  The Obama administration supports this.  Click to read the article:

Concerning the random attacks/muggings in Chicago (which has strict gun laws), I have 2 words; CONCEALED CARRY.   The old saying "when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" is exactly the truth.    I have worked in and around law enforcement and many, many, many, if not most, offenders with more than 1 felony also have at least 1 conviction for "felon in possession of a firearm" because the nature of criminals is: to disobey the law!!!  Seriously, how do people not get this??   Article in the Tribune has details:

Well, the protesters are still at it.. yet I hear people complain about the Republicans stifling democracy??  Seriously?? These union/Democrat/Commie slugs are trying to interrupt the process because its not going their way.  Pathetic.  They want mob rule, not democracy.. and for the millionth time, we are not a democracy!!  We are a representative republic.  See this clip about a bunch of losers interrupting a Special Olympics event.  Pathetic...

Anti-semitism has been around forever, and will be around until the end of time.  It was "under wraps" for a while, but there have been increases in blatant anti-semitism over the years, particularly where Israel is concerned.  Europe has had several incidents of vandalism in Jewish cemeteries in the past few years.  Now, a group in San Francisco is trying to outlaw circumcision, but in their "campaign" for this cause, they have come out with a comic that is so very blatantly anti-Semitic it makes my head hurt.  Hot Air has an entry about this..  read it and weep.

Via the Daily Mail, once again a foreign newspaper bringing up questions the US media refuses to look at.  Obama took 16 HOURS to make the decision re: going after bin Laden?    16 hours of possible leaks and tip-offs?  A chance to escape?   And they savaged Bush for taking 7 minutes to calmly finish reading a book so as not to panic the children on 9-11. 

Obama's "me, me, me" rhetoric is truly nauseating, as if he personally took out bin Laden.    Dude, you continued the policies of Bush, who you criticized while you said you were going to un-do what he had done, then you took 16 hours to decide whether or not to go through with this mission.... while our military did the real work.  The dangerous work.    I give credit for making the right decision but really, who wouldn't have?  And a real leader probably wouldn't have needed 16 hours.

What's there to say about the killing of Osama bin Laden?  It's a great victory for our military,  the best military in the world.   He'll have to face God and account for his actions.   Lots of political posturing going on with both sides.  Relief and closure for some 9/11 families.  Probable backlash from the muslim world.  Expectations that we should pull out of Afghanistan.   Proof that waterboarding works.... the first piece of intelligence in the chain that led our troops to bin Laden was gotten that way.   Obama came off as an arrogant jerk in his announcement last night "me, I me, I", but then again, he always does.  Vindication of the Bush military strategy that Obama followed but the leftwing media will give Obama all the credit.  Obama will likely get a bounce in the polls, but will it last?  Look for this to be a prominent feature in next year's election.   Pretty obvious Pakistan was protecting Osama.  

Big question...  lots of cognitive dissonance regarding the "muslim" burial given to this murderer.  We are told that he is an extremist who perverted this peaceful religion, yet we give him a proper burial??  If he wasn't a "true" muslim, why give him a "muslim" burial?  Do we think that muslim "extremists" are going to care that he was given a proper burial??    I do agree that preventing a grave from becoming a shrine was a good idea, though.   Some muslim clerics are saying it wasn't proper anyway.  These people cannot be pleased, ever.  I think Obama owes the public pictures/videos, for closure and to help keep the crazy conspiracy wackos from gaining a foothold.
